KAYINBEATS, is a 3rd generation professional percussionist and Electronic Music Producer. He began his musical journey as an understudy with Teye Sa Thiosanne African Drum and Dance Company at the age of 8 under the direction of Yiriba and Terrence Uzoma Nelson. He turned professional at the age of 11 and is currently a featured artist in the collective. He trained with Grand Master Moussa Traore of Mali West Africa at age 12, during that time he was also taking his classes. He studied from Grand Master Mamady Keita of Guinea West Africa and learned as a Djembe Fola performer, he was a very good as a student of the cutler, paid attention in the classes and exiled beyond the normal expectations. While taking class and studying, he played Dunnun in 2 Mini-Guinea’s, one at age 12 and one at age 13. He played Dunnun for Mamady at all of his classes at age 14 and studied his music for his entire career as a Djembe Fola and played Djembe for him when ever he got the chance, Mamady’s music is timeless and forever will be studied for the purpose of learning, teaching and entertainment. At seventeen years old still in High School KAYIN studied from Grand Master Famadou Konate of Guinea and took his class at San Diego State University, he played Dunnun for all his classes in San Diego and has been studying his music ever since.

At an early age in KAYIN’s career with all of the careful guidance and training, he was able to turn professional & tour nationally and internationally.

 Along with his training at a young age, he started Audio engineering and producing Hip-Hop Instrumentals using "Image Line Software". Trap, Electronic, Techno-trance, Funk , R&B and many other genres of music have had an influence on his Musical Compositions & Instrumentals. He consistently produces Experimental-Trap-Beats and composes instrumentals that pushes the line of composing and playing beats with your hands and using your mind to produce sound and generate energy the way you want, he does this before he even touches the computer. The technical boundaries of music will always be changing according to what cutler your in.

 At age 19, he made his hobby and passion (Music) his career and has been successful ever since.

Not only is he an amazing "Djembe Fola" (djembe player), he is well versed in various styles of hand drumming. KAYIN currently resides in California where he continues his research and production. He believes that music is healing and entertainment.
